The "Athelqueen"  was originally built in Belfast as the Empire Benefit. Sold to Athel Line and renamed in 1945. They sold her to the Chandris Group in 1955 and she was renamed "Mariverda".
 
On 6 September 1961 she arrived at Kure for breaking up.
