Renamed in 1958 Colorado Star, in 1965 Blue Star Line Ltd. were appointed managers.
 
With the development of containerisation on the West Coast of America (USA), she was modified at Cammell Lairds around  1967 to carry 20 ft. containers on deck. Below decks, the hatches were squared-off to carry palletised cargo. Additionally the derrick topping-lifts were fitted with electric winches.
 
Transferred in 1972 to Austasia Line (Private) Ltd., Singapore and renamed Mahsuri.
In 1977 she was transferred back to Lamport & Holt Line Ltd. (Blue Star Ship Management Ltd. managers) and renamed Roland.
 
Sold in 1978 to Shipbreaking Industries Ltd., and arrived 5 October 1978 at Faslane to be broken up, demolition commenced 4 December 1978.
