Launched in 1959 for the Northern Petroleum Tank SS Coy Ltd, Newcastle. Engined by Harland & Wolff Ltd, Glasgow, this squat looking tanker bore the distinction of being the largest ship built at the Govan yard.
 
She was jumboised by Harland & Wolff Ltd, Belfast in 1965, length increased to 736ft, 21617grt, 33759dwt.
 
Sold to Nacional Nav. S.A., Monrovia and renamed Torero in 1968.
 
In 1977 she was broken up as Apollonian Victory.
