Engined by Harland & Wolff Lid, Glasgow, this vessel was the last of a trio built at Govan to import iron ore to new terminals for the UK steel industry at Glasgow, Port Talbot, Tyne Dock, Redcar and Immingham. She plied this trade until sold to Singapore owners in 1976.
