She was built in 1970 by Harland & Wolff, Belfast, as BULK EAGLE for Kriship Shipping of London, a subsidiary of Jebsen's of Norway.
 
She was sold in 1974 to become Eagle Arrow, owned by Denhart Shipping, a subsidiary of The Indo-China S.N.Co.(Hong Kong) Limited, and from 1980 of Jardine Matheson.
 
In 1985 she was sold to Golden Union Shipping and renamed Aghia Markella.
 
She was soon sold to become Triumph in 1992, Ever Access in 1993 and Da Shun in 2001, as which she still sails under the Belize flag.
