Nurjahan and Kohinur Asiatic Steam Navigation Company's first all steel ships.
 
In 1904/5 the company sold on for further trading four of its oldest vessels, Shahzada, Maharaja, Shahjehan and Kohinur, they were replaced by ships carrying the same name.
 
1905 sold to Nakamura S., Kobe and renamed Kohina Maru
 
On August 2nd, 1916, Kohina Maru, on a voyage from Barry via Bizerta to Port Said, was sunk by the German submarine UB-46 (Cäsar Bauer), near Alexandria. There were no casualties.
