There has been launched at Belfast, from the Queen's Island Shipbuilding Works of Messrs. Harland & Wolff, the steel screw steamer, Ernesto, built for Messrs. G. H. Fletcher & Co., Liverpool.

 

Her dimensions are :- Length, 320 feet; breadth, 39 feet; gross tonnage, 2,570. The vessel will be lifted with triple expansion engines, made by the builders, and boilers capable of working to 180 lb. pressure. The Ernesto is intended for Spanish trade.
