Two boilers fed steam to two sets of triple expansion engines. There was a long trunk deck  on which the bridge-house was constructed.

1954: Sold, converted to a barge, renamed Island Cypress (Island Tug & Barge Company Ltd., Vancouver, Canada).
 
14.10.1963: Broke in two and sank in gale off mouth of Quillayute River while in tow of tug Sudbury II (voyage
to Hoquiam, Washington-wood pulp liquid chemical).
