Brought into service in February 1931 on the lines of the North Pacific. In June 1940, takes refuge in Marseille. On December 21, 1942, is seized by the Germans. On May 14, 1943, is sunk by planes in the port of Olbia where she remains stranded until the end of the hostilities.
 
From 1946 (?) to 1950, is completely reconditioned and undergoes various transformations. Begins again her service in September 1950.
 
In 1954, is sold to a Panamanian shipowner and renamed San Rolando. Demolished in 1957.
