1939 transferred to Morant SS Co Ltd (M.A. Kerwin), London.
 
On 3 Nov 1940, the Eros in convoy WN-29 from Pentland Firth to Methil was bombed and damaged by German aircraft.
 
1947 registered in Canada for Eros Transport Co (Standard Fruit Co), Halifax. 1963 renamed Trangie for Rigryth Ltd, Sydney, NSW and 1964 registered in Panama.
 
Broken up in March 1968 at Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
