[Mohawk during her service as a troopship]

One funnel, four masts (rigged for sail), she made her maiden voyage from San Francisco to Yokohama and Hong Kong on the 28th November, 1885, she continued Pacific services until 1898.
 
Sold to Atlantic Transport Line in 1899, she was renamed Mohawk and started her first voyage from Belfast to London and New York on 5th August 1899.
 
In October 1899 she became a Boer War military transport.
 
In 1903 she was scrapped at Garston.
