One funnel, two masts, she carried a crew of 40 and was a coal burner. There was accommodation for 12-2nd class passengers. She was primarily a cargo ship and sailed between the UK and West coast of South America via Cape Horn.
 
On 25th July 1918 she was torpedoed by u-boat UB 50 without warning by submarine and sunk 53 miles NE of Cape Serrat with the loss of one life.
