 Dromore Castle

Launched as the War Poplar on 28th August 1919 she was completed as the Dromore Castle as a modified 'B' type standard ship with extra derrick posts.
 
In 1941 she was deployed carrying war materials across the Atlantic and on 12th December 1942 was mined and sunk whilst in a convoy 20 miles south-east of the River Humber without any loss of life.
