Blackford Dolphin - The Accommodation Module

Designed and built to UK HSE standards for the North Sea, included cabins for 130 people, galley, mess rooms, HVAC rooms, etc. Work commenced in Fanuary 2006, the unit was delivered September 2006

Harland & Wolff were responsible for the manufacture, assembly, outfitting and mechanical completion. Work commenced in Fanuary 2006, the unit was delivered December 2006

Destined for installation in Liverpool Bay, the first 1,500 tonne substation left Belfast on Monday, 13 August, 2012. The contract to construct the two offshore substations was awarded by Siemens to H&W in July 2010. The two platforms, were built side by side in the companies Blocking Shop.
