In  January 26th 1942 she was transferred to the French Navy and renamed Commandant Drogou (J 3040), being returned to Royal Navy  in 1946.
 
In 1946 she was sold to the Union Whaling Company of Durban, converted and renamed Terje 10.
 
In 1959 she was bought by  Portuguese Navy, converted to a survey ship and renamed Caravalho Araujo.
