The vessel is of the open shelter-deck type and is divided into five main cargo compartments. Accommodation and equipment is of a high standard and mechanical ventilation with heating is installed is all accommodation spaces.
 
She was sold in 1972 to Iran and re-named Iran Niru and in 1977 re-named Rumi.
 
She was scrapped in 1979 in India.
