In August 1919 she was sold to Donaldson Line (managers Donaldson Bros.) and renamed Cabotia.
 
During February 1925 she was acquired by the United British Steamship Co. Ltd. and managed for them by Haldin and Philips Ltd. and renamed Cedrington Court.
 
 In 1936 the owners were re-styled Court Line Ltd.
 
On 7th January 1940 she was on voyage from Buenos Aries to Hull with a cargo of wheat when she struck a mine 2 miles north east of the North Goodwin Lightship and sank with no casualties.
