Built as the War Lemur she then went to Cunard as the Verentia.
 
She was sold on in 1927 to A.Holland & Company who renamed her Galvan.
 
She was eventually acquired by Japanese owners and sunk in the Pacific on 30th March, 1944 during a US air attack off Pelew Islands.
