Harland and Wolff - Shipbuilding and Engineering Works

Senior Safety Inspector Jim Faulkner retired in November 1978 after almost 39 years service with the company. His colleagues gathered in the Central Personal to pay tribute to him and hear personel director D.C. Tinkler described him as "a nice human being - a commodity in short supply these days." Mr Tinkler presented Jim with a clock and a radio/alarm clock - gifts from the staff.
