James Patric Brogan 1851-1924 Born and Died County Cork, Ireland. Participant in The Irish Rebellion, 1916. Migrated from County Cork to Belfast, 1876. Steelworker/Riveter for Harland and Wolff. Broke right arm during the Dock Strike of 1907. Was present during keel laying and launch of Titanic, also worked on sister ship Olympic. Suffered with hearing problems in later life because of the noise endured when driving home thousands of rivets.
